Major chagnes are coming in the toll system of Poland! More precise:

In June, the New Electronic Toll Collection System e-TOLL will be launched on the state’s toll road sections.

e-TOLL is a modern solution based on satellite positioning technology.
It will replace the existing viaTOLL toll collection system, which will be terminated on 30 June

Since 1 July, electronic tolls will only be possible in the e-TOLL system.

The change will affect users of vehicles or vehicle combinations with a maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tonnes and buses.

The new e-TOLL system means:

• no need to conclude contracts, registration in e-TOLL is sufficient
• the possibility of choosing the tool for transmitting data to the system:
  • free of charge e-TOLL PL Mobile app
  • ELS (External Localization System)
  • OBU (On-Board-Unit)
• Online Customer Account (OCA) with comprehensive online services without the need to visit the Customer Service Points
• modern payment methods and communication channels available 24h/day
• integration with gov.pl services
• e-TOLL and SENT service in one Mobile app
• integration with the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS)
• intermediation of fleet card issuers in registration and payment
