Connect the ignition detection sensor

In order to connect the Ignition detection on our GPS Tracking Software and learn when the engine of your vehicle is ON or OFF, you will have to follow the below instructions:
1) You will need to connect the Ignition cable of your GPS Tracker device (usually the yellow cable, Di1) to a cable of your car, which has power when the engine is ON (Please refer to the user manual of your device). We suggest connecting it directly to the ignition cable.
2) Once you have connected the proper cable, edit your GPS Tracker device and navigate to the “Sensors” tab.
3) Press the “+” button which is located at the bottom of the window, and the below options will appear.
4) Add a new Sensor by using the below options:Name: Engine Status (you can write anything you want here)Type: Ignition (ACC)Parameter: It depends on how you have connected your cables. However, it will be one of the following options:AutogeoDI1Type: Logic If sensor “1” (text): Engine ON If sensor “0” (text): Engine OFFFinally press the “Save” button and you have created a new sensor for your GPS Tracker device!
